Voix du Nord was born from a simple idea: to create a space where creators from the region can share their work.
In a vast region like Baie-James, artists are often far from one another. Yet ideas, stories, and images continue to move across the territory.
This zine aims to become a meeting place for these different voices.
Each issue brings together creations from communities across the North, forming a snapshot of the region’s artistic landscape at a given moment.
The project is open to emerging artists, first-time creators, and anyone who simply wants to share their work.
More than just a publication, Voix du Nord seeks to keep artistic creation moving through the communities of the territory.

Participating artists come from different communities across Baie-James. The Voices Map highlights the cities and communities represented in the zine.
Over time, Voix du Nord will also become an artistic archive of the region.
The published works, participating artists, and represented places reflect the creative vitality of the territory.
